Most of the times, great graphics usually mean a great game. Even if the game is bad in the graphical department, we can always hope the gameplay will be good. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The gameplay is horrible, the story almost non-existent, there is absolutely no challenge and the game can only be described as bad and boring. The game is meant to be a an arcade shooter, but there's not much of a challenge when the AI totally sucks and you can kill them all with the least amount of effort. I should give the game credit for its rather great video quality, while other games that attempted to use FMV resulted in bad quality videos. Sadly, that's the only good thing I have to say about this game. The story is just that you're a stranger and you need to take down a bandit known as McCree. Overall, Mad Dog McCree is the first game to start off the genre, it didn't do such a great job. Luckily for us that Sega has brought other great such games to save the genre.
