Skate-Leading☆Stars (スケートリーディング☆スターズ, Sukēto Rīdingu ☆ Sutāzu)Godville game. is an upcoming original Japanese anime television series produced by J.C.Staff, created by Gorō Taniguchi, directed by Toshinori Fukushima and Toboso Yana will handle original character design. The show is scheduled to air on both television and stream online sometime in July 2020.[1][2][3][4]

Plot[edit]

The series will follow a group of high school boys who participate in a type of competitive figure skating known as “skate-leading”.

A manga adaption by Chiaki Nagaoka with art by Sumika Sumio was announced to run in Monthly G Fantasy.[6]

Production and release[edit]

On December 1, 2019, J.C. Staff announced that they are producing a new original anime television series directed by Gorō Taniguchi with Toboso Yana will handle original character design.[3] The series is produced by J.C. Staff, with Toshinori Fukushima as the director, Taniguchi as chief director, Noboru Kimura is writing the scripts, Yoko Ito is designing the characters and Ryō Takahashi composing the series' music. It will premiere on both television and stream online in July 2020.[4]
