The game will release for PS4 in Japan on June 28th. If you have not played the first game on PS Vita you should not worry, as a full remake of Mary Skelter: Nightmares will be include, benefiting.

Idea Factory International released new screenshots and details for their dungeon RPG Mary Skelter: Nightmares, coming to PlayStation Vita on September 19 in North America and September 22 in Europe.In the dungeons of Mary Skelter: Nightmares players will face against multiple nightmares, some of these being “Giant Nightmares”. Nightmares within Mary Skelter are enemies that the player will encounter while exploring the dungeons. Evidently, they patrol the Living Jail and are much stronger than the average Marchens. AdvertisementWhen a Nightmare is close by, the surroundings will become darker and the only thing that will produce light is the blood splatter that the player will leave after an encounter. When this happens, the game switches to “Murder Hunt” mode, a gauge will appear and let the player known how far the Nightmare is away from them.
It’s possible to face the Nightmare or escape.Additionally, there are Giant Nightmares that will attack the party in real-time. Players must use the Blood Maiden’s abilities in order to lay traps and to hinder the Nightmare in its path.Additionally, the publisher shared some character bios:Jack – A timid, yet brave young boy who is the hero of the game. He was imprisoned in the Jail with Alice. With his Mary Gun and his special blood, he’s able to control the Blood Maidens which makes him a vital member of the party.Alice – Jack’s childhood best friend who is also a prisoner of the Jail.
She discovers she’s a Blood Maiden after meeting Red Riding Hood. She’s a straightforward girl with a calm demeanor but she loses her cool when Jack is in danger.Red Riding Hood – A longtime prisoner of the Jail and Blood Maiden who rescues Jack and Alice. Yakuza 4 cheats. She teaches them all about the Blood Maidens and acts as like an older sister to her less experienced teammates.You can see the new screenshots below showing the Nightmares.
