PangYa is an online multiplayer casual golf simulation game designed by Korean development company, Ntreev Soft.The full game is free to download, although certain special items for the game (such as clothes for characters, new equipment, and decorations)can only be acquired through purchase with actual money. However, all characters are available through the initial download, and measures have beentaken to minimize or effectively reduce the differences between paying users and free users. The game awards players with Pang, a currency that canbe used to upgrade a character, or items to gain the upper hand during a course.PangYa currently has servers in Korea and Japan, which only service the countries they are located in. A server for the Southeast Asian region islocated in Thailand, and a fourth in North America provides global services to the rest of the world.PangYa's global publisher is SG Interactive/Gamerage, while Gametree Co and Gamepot Inc are the publishers for Koreaand Japanrespectively. Ini3 is the game's Thai publisher.GameplayPangYa's gameplay is designed similar to most other golf games. The power and accuracy of a shot are determined by a meter located at the bottomof the screen, using the 'three-click method': one click to activate the meter's bar, one click to set power, and one click to set accuracy.Clicking is either done by moving the mouse pointer over the bar and clicking, or simply pressing the space bar.Should the player hit the ball with perfect (or almost-perfect) accuracy, the shot is called a 'PangYa'. Missing a PangYa will result in a lossof power, and either a 'hook' (where the ball angles to the left from the intended trajectory) or a 'slice' (where the ball angles to the rightfrom the intended trajectory).The similarity of PangYa with other online golf games end here.

Despite Pangya: Fantasy Golf's technical shortcomings, it's still really fun and has a lot of replay value. You could spend 15 to 20 hours playing through the Story mode alone, followed by tons of challenges to complete and tournaments to join.
The game's graphics are anime derived, with many of its features stemming fromcreative imagination, as opposed to realism. Golf clubs resembling household products or baseball bats are used by some characters, and coursesincluding Silvia Cannon and Wiz Wiz are set in fantasy realms. Additionally, physically impossible special shots can be performed.
